Ash Mocha

Ash Mocha is a cool, dark-rooted ash-blonde on a raw Vietnamese base, professionally coloured and made to order. No brassy warmth, just soft ash tones. It starts as raw Vietnamese hair, then goes through a professional colour process to reach a cool ash-blonde with a deliberately dark root. It's not bleached-blonde or golden; think a soft brown/ blonde that sits close to a smoky mocha, which is where the name comes from. Starting from raw Vietnamese hair means the colourist has fine, naturally glossy hair to work with, which is part of why the finished colour looks soft rather than brassy.

Ash Mocha reads cooler and more neutral than our Honey Brown or Golden Brown shades, which both lean warm, and it's noticeably darker-rooted than Buttercup or Frost Silk, so if you want blonde without looking freshly bleached at the scalp, this is the one to pick over those. It blends best with a natural black to dark brown leave-out, since the rooted effect is part of the look rather than something to hide.

Every custom colour order is made to order rather than pulled from ready stock, since the colour work happens after you order rather than sitting pre-dyed on a shelf. That means a short wait before it ships, which is worth it if you want the base underneath the colour to still be genuinely raw rather than hair that's already been through a bleach-and-tone cycle once before it reached you.

Handle it the way you would any coloured hair: gentle, sulphate-free products, and it'll keep its tone through wash after wash, hold a curl or straighten just as easily as our natural-shade bundles, and take out and reinstall cleanly once you're ready for your next look.
