Buttercup

Buttercup is a warm, golden blonde, the direct opposite of our cooler shades like Ash Mocha or Frost Silk. Where those lean grey-beige, Buttercup leans into genuine gold warmth, closer to butter than platinum or ash.

It starts as raw Vietnamese hair before the colour process, which gives the colourist fine, naturally glossy strands to lift and tone evenly. That matters for a warm blonde especially, since an uneven lift can leave patches of brassiness rather than the consistent golden warmth Buttercup is going for.

If you're choosing between our blondes: Buttercup and Frost Silk sit at opposite ends, warm versus cool, while Ash Mocha sits in between with more of a rooted, muted effect. Pick Buttercup specifically if you want blonde that reads warm and golden rather than icy or grey-toned.

As with all our custom colours, this is made to order rather than pulled from stock, the colour work happens after you place your order, which is what keeps the base genuinely raw rather than pre-bleached before it reaches you.

Handle it as you would any coloured hair: gentle, sulphate-free products, and it holds its golden tone and shine through repeated washes, takes a curl or straightens the same as our natural-shade bundles, and comes out and reinstalls cleanly for your next look.
